Richard Franzese is a middle-distance athlete who has had considerable success as an athlete winning the presitigious Oxford vs Cambridge varsity cross-country match amongst other races. In this episode Richard discusses his academic background and its' links with running. We talk extensively about coaching as well as his major influences on his training and racing. I especially enjoyed interviewing Richard as he speaks his mind and is equally entertaining.

Gill Bland is an established club athlete with a marathon pb of 2.53. She has an impressive record of running quality marathons in quick succession. We talk about her running and talk in depth about pregnancy and running as well as the value of having a coach.

Martin Öhman is a Swedish athlete from Stockholm who originally started out as a 800m and 1500m runner before taking some time out of the sport and returning to the Marathon with considerable success running 2.21. His career highlight is finishing as the first Swedish athlete at the 2017 Stockholm Marathon. We hear about his wide range of running distances and how his training evolved throughout his career.
Martin is the brains behind runtrack, an excellent and innovative website which looks to help runners all around the world find new and interesting places to run. Make sure you check it out!

Episode 9- Dimos Evangelidis-
Dimos Evangelidis is a Greek orthopaedic surgeon. He has been a competitive runner since a young age, racing from 800m to the marathon, which is his favourite event.
He moved in the UK in 2012 and completed two fellowships in Foot and Ankle Surgery, having also obtained the Diploma for Sport and Exercise Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
He runs for Hercules Wimbledon.
